There are at least four sleeve / label variants (UK release has no writing on sleeve, Dutch release black writing, Italian release red writing, Spanish red/blue). The Planet Doesn't Mind UK / Dutch release 18th September 1981 (7" single, GTO, GT 302) (12" single, GTO, GT 13 302) There are three distinct variants of the 7", the (earlier?) UK release with no sleeve (and different labels), the UK pic sleeve, and the Dutch pic sleeve. The 12" mix of Planet is listed as being over 30 seconds longer than the versions which appear on the CD releases, and the reissue below. It is thought this is a typo and they are all the same 4.14 release. |

The Planet Doesn't Mind UK Reissue 26 Feb 2019 (12" single, GTO, GT13302AB) A bit of a mystery, reissued in 2019 and went pretty much completely unnoticed. Pervasive opinion is that it was mainly reissued for the B side which has become a cult hit with DJs for downtempo parts of their set. |
